Zadar Organ Festival features Trio Solemnis at St. Michael's Church

As part of the 8th Zadar Organ Festival, the Trio Solemnis performed a sacred music concert at St. Michael's Church in Zadar. The ensemble, consisting of soprano Nina Kobler, violinist Krešimir Marmilić, and organist Milan Hibšer, performed a repertoire spanning from the Baroque to the Romantic periods, including works by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, and Mozart.

The event highlighted the restoration of the church's historic organs from the school of Petar Nakić. These instruments had previously been dismantled and stored in the monastery attic for years until a single organ pipe was rediscovered, leading to a full restoration that returned the instruments to their original purpose.
