Zadar retiree reports 70 euro taxi fare for short trip

A retiree from Zagreb reported being overcharged by a taxi driver in Zadar, paying 70 euros for a five-to-six-minute trip from the Peninsula to the bus station. The passenger stated she expected a price similar to her arrival trip, which cost 10 euros.

Although a price list was reportedly displayed in the vehicle, the passenger claimed she did not see it and was unable to negotiate the fare. She expressed frustration, describing the incident as a “robbery and fraud” that is harmful to the city's tourism reputation.
