Zafer Partisi initiates expulsion process for 10 members

Ten members of the Zafer Partisi, including Vice President Ali Dinçer Çolak, have been referred to the Central Disciplinary Board with requests for permanent expulsion. The move follows allegations that these individuals assaulted Party Executive Board (GİK) member Eray Ertürk during a party congress on December 8, 2024.

According to General Secretary Cezmi Polat, the incident occurred during a speech by Chairman Ümit Özdağ. Ertürk reportedly obtained a medical report documenting the assault and filed a criminal complaint with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. While the party leadership initially attempted to resolve the matter through mediation and encouraged Ertürk to withdraw his complaints to maintain party unity, no settlement was reached.

Following repeated requests from Ertürk’s legal counsel for information regarding the status of disciplinary actions, the party has officially initiated the process to protect its institutional identity and legal standing.
