Zagreb and Zagorska Sela host local cultural and educational events

Various local cultural and educational events are taking place in Croatia. In Zagorska Sela, the “Kušaj fiš na zagorski” event was held to promote freshwater fish gastronomy and local traditions. The festival featured diverse fish specialties, music, and activities for families, aiming to highlight the importance of freshwater fish in local cuisine.

In Zagreb, the Zagreb Zoo is hosting “Bat Night” to mark the 30th anniversary of International Bat Night. The program aims to educate the public about the more than 20 bat species living in the Zagreb area and their vital role in the ecosystem, such as controlling insect populations. The zoo's wildlife rehabilitation center has treated over 60 bats so far this year.
