Zagreb Chamber of Economy awards Zlatna kuna business plaques

The Croatian Chamber of Economy - Zagreb Chamber has awarded the ‘Zlatna kuna’ (Golden Firkin) plaques to the most successful companies in the City of Zagreb and Zagreb County for their 2025 business results.

In the large enterprise category, Genera from Sveta Nedelja and Elka from Zagreb were recognized. CQV Systems from Brezje received the award for medium-sized enterprises, while Ingemark was also honored in that category. In the small enterprise category, METAL FORMING CO from Samobor won the award, alongside Restaurator in Zagreb.

Additionally, the construction materials manufacturer Samoborka d.d. received a special recognition for its 120 years of service and contribution to the Croatian economy.

Zagreb County Deputy Ervin Kolarec noted that businesses in the Zagreb and Zagreb County region are vital to the national economy, accounting for over 40 percent of Croatia's GDP and more than 53 percent of total exports.
