Zagreb hosts Golden June event to support children with cancer

In Zagreb, several organizations including Jak kao Jakov, Krijesnica, Krin, and the Nora Šitum Foundation are joining forces to observe Golden June, a month dedicated to raising awareness for childhood and adolescent malignant diseases.

A public program is scheduled for September 23, 2026, at Zrinjevac park starting at 4:00 PM. The initiative aims to convey the message, “The right word at the right time – support for children and families facing malignant diseases,” emphasizing that support should continue even after treatment ends and during the return to daily life.
