Zagreb hosts 'Honey on Cvjetni' fair at Cvjetni Square

The 'Honey on Cvjetni' fair is currently taking place at Cvjetni Square in the center of Zagreb. Organized in cooperation with the City of Zagreb, the event features 15 exhibitors offering various types of honey and bee products.

Most participants hold high-quality certifications, including the 'Blue Carnation' label, which guarantees products have passed strict laboratory analyses and originate from local family businesses or agricultural holdings. One exhibitor also holds an organic certification.

To assist consumers in identifying authentic products, the Dr. Andrija Štampar Teaching Institute of Public Health will host an educational program on Friday, September 18. The session, titled 'How to recognize quality and real honey, and how to distinguish it from fake honey,' aims to provide practical advice on safe purchasing.
