Zagreb hosts tribute concert for Dedić-Novak musical family

A large crowd gathered at Strossmayer Square in Zagreb for a concert honoring the musical legacy of the Dedić-Novak family. The event celebrated the works of Arsen Dedić, Gabi Novak, and Matija Dedić.

The program featured a wide array of domestic and regional performers, including Darko Rundek, Rade Šerbedžija, Matija Cvek, and Tina Vukov. The performances included the songs of Gabi Novak and Arsen Dedić, as well as poetry by Arsen and instrumental pieces inspired by the virtuosity of Matija Dedić. Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomašević was among those in attendance.

The tribute continues with a jazz evening titled ‘Jammin’ for Matija’ scheduled for September 10 at the Comedy Theatre Club, dedicated to the musical spirit of Matija Dedić.
