Zagreb leads Croatian cities in 2025 net profit rankings

Ten leading Croatian cities accounted for 7.2 billion euros in net profit in 2025, representing 69.9% of the total net profit for all entrepreneurs in the country. According to data from the Financial Agency (FINA), these cities host 53.2% of Croatia's entrepreneurs and employ 55.8% of the total workforce.

Zagreb remains the dominant economic hub, generating 5.1 billion euros in net profit, which constitutes 70.9% of the profit from the top ten cities. Zagreb ranks first in the number of entrepreneurs, total revenues, and number of employees. Pula follows as the second most profitable city with 427.8 million euros, while Split ranks third with 391.7 million euros.

Other notable cities in the top ten include Sveta Nedelja, Rijeka, Velika Gorica, Varaždin, Osijek, Zadar, and Poreč. In Sveta Nedelja, Bugatti Rimac recorded the highest profit at 114.5 million euros, accounting for 44.2% of the city's total net profit. In Zagreb, Pliva Hrvatska led with 199.4 million euros, and in Velika Gorica, Lidl Hrvatska recorded 69.8 million euros.
