Zagreb Solists and Steven Isserlis Perform at Kneževo Palace
The Zagreb Solists ensemble, under concertmaster Sreten Krstić, joined British cellist Steven Isserlis for a concert in the atrium of Kneževo Palace on 30 July. The performance was part of the Dubrovnik Summer Games and featured works from the 18th to the 20th century, including Avison's Concerto gross No. 3, Bach’s C‑major cello concerto, John Tavener’s Eternal Memory, and Béla Bartók’s Divertimento.
The program earned prolonged applause and ovations from the festival audience, highlighting the ensemble’s long‑standing reputation and Isserlis’s celebrated interpretation of the repertoire.
