Balkan region sees major investments in schools and sports infrastructure

Various regional infrastructure projects are underway across the Balkans, with a significant focus on educational and sports facilities. In Croatia, Osijek-Baranja County is investing 10 million euros into the reconstruction and expansion of the Šećerana and Dr. Franjo Tuđman primary schools to enable single-shift teaching. In Slavonski Brod, a new school sports hall is being constructed with a value exceeding 1 million euros, while in Cavtat, construction of a new school is nearing completion. Additionally, Brodsko-Posavska County has signed a contract for a new primary school in Nova Gradiška, a project valued at approximately 7.48 million euros.

In Montenegro, Podgorica is moving forward with a 26.5 million euro project for the eastern tribune of the stadium under Gorica, alongside a 11.94 million euro reconstruction of the Morača Sports Center swimming pool. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bihać has begun construction of a new auxiliary football pitch for NK Jedinstvo, and Čapljina has secured over 744,000 KM for the renovation of its municipal sports hall.

Other regional developments include a 25 million dinar parking reconstruction in Žitište, Serbia, and roof repairs for the Belica primary school in Međimurje, Croatia.
