Zagreb students create social board game on equality

Seven students from the Ivan Meštrović Elementary School in Zagreb have developed a social board game titled ‘Čovječe, budi pravedan’ (Man, Be Just). The project, which began as a classroom assignment, aims to engage young people in discussions regarding equality, stereotypes, discrimination, and the acceptance of diversity.

The game encourages players to share opinions and listen to one another to foster empathy and critical thinking. The transition from a school project to a finished social game was supported by Allianz Hrvatska and the Croatian Paralympic Committee. The students and school administration expressed a desire to promote the game in other schools to encourage broader dialogue on social justice.
