Zagreb to host inaugural ZACID creative industry conference

The inaugural Zagreb Actors & Creators Industry Days (ZACID) conference is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20 at Bizkoshnica on Jabukovac. The event aims to connect actors, directors, producers, and creative professionals with entrepreneurs and business leaders from Zagreb.

Designed as an informal networking environment rather than a traditional conference, ZACID focuses on the intersection of the creative arts and business. Discussions will cover topics such as the use of social media for project visibility, attracting international investment, and the growth of the creative industry. Panelists include representatives from the Croatian Audiovisual Centre and MEDIA DESK Croatia. The conference highlights a significant economic trend, noting that revenues in Croatia’s cultural and creative industries have increased by 60 percent over the last five years, reaching 3.9 billion euros.
