Malaysian actress Zahirah MacWilson has shared that she began wearing a hijab two months ago as part of a personal spiritual journey. The 31-year-old described the change as a transition phase and expressed a desire to serve as a positive role model for her children, noting that her experiences living in both Western countries and Malaysia influenced her decision to embrace her cultural identity.

Singer Syasya Rizal also discussed her decision to wear a hijab, which she adopted approximately two years ago. To maintain her comfort and align with her current image, she has chosen to work with an all-female professional team, including dancers and makeup artists. Rizal emphasized that wearing a hijab does not hinder professional success or the ability to perform on stage, aiming to challenge perceptions that the garment is a burden or an obstacle to career achievements.
