Zaječar Theater Museum hosts exhibitions honoring Dragan Nikolić and Branko Baletić

As part of the 35th Zoran Radmilović Days festival, the Theater Museum in Zaječar has launched exhibitions honoring two prominent figures of Balkan cinema and theater.

One exhibition, titled ‘Dostojanstvo je mera stvari’ (Dignity is a Measure of Things), commemorates the tenth anniversary of the death of legendary Serbian actor Dragan Nikolić. The display features archival photographs from the Belgrade Atelje 212, documenting approximately 20 theatrical productions from his career. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog compiled by journalist Tatjana Nježić, which includes Nikolić’s reflections on theater and life.

Additionally, the museum presented a portrait of Branko Baletić, a distinguished director, screenwriter, and producer. Baletić was honored with the Zoran Radmilović Plaque and Statuette for his exceptional contributions to Balkan culture. The event included a presentation of a short film about his career and a discussion regarding his work on films such as ‘Sok od šljiva’ and ‘Balkan ekspres’.
