Zakiyuddin Harahap urges Hima Lubis to prioritize community benefit

Medan Deputy Mayor Zakiyuddin Harahap attended the inauguration of the Medan City Branch Board of the Himpunan Marga Lubis Dohot Anak Boruna (Hima Lubis) for the 2026–2030 term. During the event held in Tanjung Selamat, Harahap emphasized that the organization should move beyond mere ceremony and focus on providing tangible benefits to the community.

Harahap noted that the Marga Lubis community in Medan possesses significant human resources and influential figures. He encouraged the new leadership to consolidate these strengths to foster social care and strengthen ties among members. He specifically suggested that the organization conduct data collection of its members to better identify and assist those in need, ensuring that the group serves as a support system for its community.
