Zakynthos' Argasi Beach Redevelopment Secures Funding

Greek MP Dionysios Aktipis announced that Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis has signed the decree to include and fund the Argasi beach redevelopment project on the island of Zakynthos. The decision ends a long‑standing effort by local officials and ministries, securing European regional development funds and appointing a contractor to move the project into the implementation phase.

Aktipis thanked the deputy minister, the General Secretary of the European Regional Development Fund, Vasilios Siađimas, and the municipal authorities of Zakynthos for their cooperation, emphasizing the project's importance for the island’s tourism and economic development.
