Zakynthos: British man dies during sea turtle excursion

Cameron Wallace, 33, died unexpectedly while on vacation on the Greek island of Zakynthos. Wallace had traveled to the island with a friend on August 17 to observe sea turtles.

During a boat excursion, Wallace entered the water and reportedly became unresponsive within seconds. His friend attempted resuscitation before the body was retrieved and transported to a hospital, but Wallace passed away before medical staff could intervene. The exact cause of death remains unknown, and his fiancée, Silvana Bernardes, has called for a full investigation into the incident.
