Zalgiris adjusts guard rotation ahead of Partizan matchup

Zalgiris Kaunas has made changes to its guard rotation following injury concerns for Najdžel Williams-Gos. The American playmaker is traveling to Barcelona for additional medical examinations due to a recurring hamstring injury. While a precise recovery timeline is pending the results of these tests, previous estimates suggested he could be sidelined for approximately four weeks.

To address the shortage in the backcourt, Zalgiris has recalled Kinan Evans from his loan at London Lions. Evans, who had been gaining match rhythm in the EuroCup, returns to provide depth for the Lithuanian club. Williams-Gos is expected to join the team in Bologna to support them during their upcoming EuroLeague game against Virtus, though he is not expected to play immediately.

These roster adjustments come as Zalgiris prepares for a series of critical EuroLeague fixtures, including a scheduled game against Partizan in Kaunas this Friday.
