Zalgiris Kaunas guard Nigel Williams-Goss injured

Zalgiris Kaunas has announced that American guard Nigel Williams-Goss will travel to Barcelona for further medical examinations following a hamstring injury. The 31-year-old player may be sidelined for approximately four weeks.

Williams-Goss initially suffered a leg injury during the EuroLeague season opener against Red Star. Although he returned for the game against Anadolu Efes, he experienced renewed hamstring discomfort during the third quarter and was forced to leave the court.

Following his medical evaluations in Barcelona, Williams-Goss is expected to travel to Bologna to join his teammates for the EuroLeague Round 8 matchup against Virtus. To address his absence, Zalgiris has recalled Keenan Evans from the London Lions.
