Zalo launches ‘Report Abuse’ feature to boost user safety
Zalo has announced a new "Báo xấu" (Report Abuse) function for all its users. The feature lets users quickly report accounts or content that appear suspicious or violate Zalo’s community standards. To file a report, users collect the relevant material, open the profile of the account in question, tap the three‑dot menu, select "Báo xấu", add images or messages and a reason, then submit. The report is sent anonymously – the reported user cannot see who filed it. The function can also be accessed directly from a chat window with an unknown contact via a "Báo xấu" button. Zalo encourages people to use the tool honestly and civilly to protect themselves and the broader community.
