Zalău County Museum of History and Art launches 75th anniversary exhibition

The Zalău County Museum of History and Art has launched a street exhibition titled ‘Afișul de muzeu’ (The Museum Poster) to commemorate its 75th anniversary. The exhibition utilizes historical museum posters as the primary artifacts to showcase the institution's evolution and its engagement with the public over seven decades.

The display features 14 panels that illustrate the museum's history, ranging from archaeological discoveries and local Sălaj community stories to various art exhibitions. The project aims to transform the posters from mere announcement tools into central subjects of study, reflecting the changing interests of society and the museum's shifting methods of presenting cultural heritage.
