Zamalek expects Juan Biserra and Shiko Banza to join pre‑season camp after resolving transfer dispute
Brazilian forward Juan Biserra has missed the deadline to report to Zamalek's pre‑season camp in Cairo. The club says his absence is linked to unpaid lawyer and agent fees tied to his transfer from Ukrainian side Oleksandriya, even though Zamalek has already paid $800,000 as part of the deal.
Zamalek issued an official letter demanding his return and tasked board member Hussein Al‑Sayed with negotiating a settlement with the player's representatives. The club also announced that Angolan striker Shiko Banza, currently on holiday in his home country, is expected to arrive before the end of the week.
Both players are slated to join the first‑team training that began on Saturday at the New Administrative Capital stadium, as Zamalek prepares for the upcoming Egyptian league, Egypt Cup, Super Cup and the CAF Champions League.
