Zamalek SC faces leadership criticism and CAF Champions League preparations

Former Egyptian footballer Tarek El Said has criticized Hisham Nasr, the Vice President of Zamalek SC, regarding his potential candidacy for the club's upcoming presidency. El Said questioned what Nasr could offer the club given his recent performance, suggesting that the club should provide an opportunity for new leadership.

In separate sporting developments, analysts have reviewed the recent ‘Summit’ match between Al Ahly and Zamalek, which ended in a 2-0 victory for Al Ahly. Former Zamalek player Samah Youssef described the match as technically poor and noted that Zamalek players appeared to be playing under significant psychological pressure.

Additionally, former Al Ahly star Sherif Abdel Fadil commented on the performance of Al Ahly's attacking line, specifically noting that Emam Ashour had one of his worst recent performances, struggling with passing accuracy and overall impact during the match.

Meanwhile, Zamalek SC is preparing for an away match against Rwanda's APR FC in the second qualifying round of the CAF Champions League at Amahoro Stadium.
