Fares noted that Suleiman’s disclosures have reignited discussions concerning Zamalek’s budget. Specifically, Suleiman revealed that the football team’s spending for the previous season exceeded 1.3 billion Egyptian pounds, marking the highest expenditure in the team’s history.
