Zamalek SC nears $6 million sale of Juan Bezerra to Shabab Al Ahli

Zamalek SC is nearing a deal to sell Brazilian player Juan Bezerra to the UAE-based club Shabab Al Ahli. The reported transfer is valued at approximately $6 million, with $4 million expected to be paid immediately and the remaining $2 million due in January.

The deal reportedly includes Shabab Al Ahli covering $150,000 in fines owed by the player. As part of the agreement, Bezerra is expected to return to Cairo to issue an apology and film a video before finalizing his departure.

Zamalek board member Ahmed Suleiman previously emphasized that any sale must fully compensate the club for the significant costs incurred during Bezerra's tenure, which totaled roughly $2.5 million in a single year. The club has faced challenges due to Bezerra's sudden absence from training for two months, and the potential sale is seen as a way to provide much-needed financial resources for the club's treasury.
