Juan Bezerra to leave Zamalek SC for Shabab Al Ahli Dubai

Brazilian footballer Juan Bezerra has announced his intention to leave Zamalek SC, citing a unique professional opportunity that represents a dream for him and his family. In an official statement, Bezerra apologized to the club, its management, coaching staff, and fans for his departure, while expressing gratitude for the support received during his time in Cairo.

Zamalek officials confirmed that the player has been sanctioned with the largest penalty in the club's history due to an unauthorized absence. Reports indicate that Bezerra has been away from the team for approximately 40 days. While the club initially maintained strict financial terms for a transfer, including a demand for $7 million and a 20% sell-on clause, recent developments suggest a deal is being finalized with UAE-based Shabab Al Ahli Dubai.

According to media reports, the transfer fee is expected to be approximately $5 million, structured with an initial $3 million payment followed by installments. Zamalek management has emphasized that any proceeds from the sale will be prioritized to settle outstanding debts and dues to other players within the club, denying rumors that funds would be used to repay previous financial contributors.
