Zamalek settles Ibrahim Naddai claim, clears key financial dispute

Egyptian football club Zamalek has completed payments to resolve the outstanding claim of former striker Ibrahim Naddai. The club transferred the agreed amount, covering the $1.7 million owed, and is preparing documentation for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Court of Arbitration for Sport to confirm the settlement.

The agreement gives Naddai 40 % of his total dues in a lump‑sum, with the remaining 60 % to be paid in four equal monthly installments. The resolution follows intensive negotiations led by Zamalek’s legal team and is expected to be officially signed and submitted within days. The club also settled a separate $800,000 obligation to Ukrainian side Oleksandriya related to the transfer of Brazilian midfielder Juan Alvina, further clearing financial files needed for the club’s African competition licence for the upcoming season.
