Zamalek signs Ayman Amir to four‑year contract despite transfer ban

Egyptian club Zamalek renewed striker Ayman Amir Abdel Aziz’s contract for four seasons, keeping the young forward despite the club’s current transfer‑registration ban. Amir chose to stay after receiving interest from Al Ahly and a Turkish side.

At the same time, Zamalek’s legal department is preparing a comprehensive file for the International Sports Court, seeking to lift or at least reduce the ban – aiming to cut the sanction from two registration periods to one. The effort follows the recent removal of a case against the club from FIFA’s public list, part of a broader push to resolve pending disciplinary matters.
