Zambia captain Sakala confident ahead of AFCON qualifier against Togo

Zambia captain Fashion Sakala has expressed high confidence ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group I qualifier against Togo. Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Sakala stated that the team is ready to fight and is determined to secure a victory at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

Following a 3-1 defeat to Algeria in their opening fixture, the Zambian side, led by coach George Lwandamina, faces pressure to collect maximum points to remain competitive in a group that also includes Burundi. Sakala emphasized the importance of home advantage and expected strong support from the local fans.

Addressing individual scrutiny, the Al-Fayha forward noted that he does not pay much attention to criticism, citing his 13 years of experience at a high professional level as evidence of his hard work and commitment.
