Zambia football teams prepare for September competitive fixtures

Zambia’s national football teams are preparing for significant competitive fixtures in September. The senior Chipolopolo squad will continue their Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign, with scheduled matches against Algeria on September 23 and Togo on September 27.

Simultaneously, the Zambia Under-20 team will compete in the COSAFA Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Mozambique from September 18 to 27. The team aims to secure a record-extending 13th COSAFA title. Zambia has been drawn into a pool with Malawi, Comoros, and Botswana. Success in this tournament is critical, as the two finalists will qualify for next year’s continental finals.
