Zambra Calcio youth team honored in Cascina

The municipal administration of Cascina has honored the Zambra Calcio 2011 youth team for their provincial Giovanissimi championship victory. The team achieved a notable record of 25 wins in 26 matches.

Mayor Michelangelo Betti and Sports Councilor Francesca Mori presented the players and club officials with certificates of congratulations during a ceremony in the council chamber. Mayor Betti praised the club for its commitment to the local community and noted that youth sports serve to both develop citizens and foster excellence, citing the presence of local athletes in the Paris Olympics and Paralympics.

Councilor Mori highlighted that the team's success was the result of a year of hard work, sacrifice, and strong teamwork.
