Zambrone fatal car accident leaves one dead and two injured

A fatal multi-vehicle collision occurred on the former SS 522 in the municipality of Zambrone, Calabria. The accident involved three cars and ten people in total. Emergency services, including the Vibo Marina fire brigade, SUEM 118 medical personnel, and Carabinieri, responded to the scene. One person died in the crash, and two others were injured and transported to a nearby hospital.

A separate incident occurred later that day on the same road in Briatico, involving a motorcyclist who sustained injuries. The motorcyclist was stabilized by firefighters and transported to a hospital via helicopter.
