Zamfara ADC chairman warns against false governorship candidacy

The Zamfara State chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kabiru Garba Gusau, has issued a warning to Bilyaminu Shinkafi to cease presenting himself as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 elections.

Gusau stated during a press conference that Shinkafi is not a card-carrying member of the ADC and threatened legal action if the impersonation continues. The chairman affirmed that Ibrahim Salisu Mafara is the legitimate and recognized gubernatorial candidate for the party in Zamfara State, in accordance with the party’s constitution and existing court rulings.
