Zamfara Governor Lawal Rejects Negotiations with Bandits, Vows Ongoing Military Action

Governor Dauda Lawal of Nigeria's Zamfara State declared that his administration will not negotiate with bandits, insisting that military operations will continue until the criminals surrender or face the law. The statement was made through Chief of Staff Mukhtar Musa during the inauguration of the Association of Zamfara State Indigenes Residing in Kaduna secretariat.

The state announced a ₦5 million donation to support the association and distributed food parcels to less‑privileged members. Officials at the event expressed optimism that peace will soon return to Zamfara.
