Zamfara State completes new Gusau airport project

During a visit to Gusau to mark Zamfara State’s 30th anniversary, journalist Festus Adebayo observed significant changes in the region. A notable development is the completion of the new Gusau airport, a project pursued by Governor Dauda Lawal despite opposition from his predecessors, Bello Matawalle and Abdulaziz Yari.

The new airport features state-of-the-art facilities, including a control tower and runway. This infrastructure project aims to address the state's isolation caused by poor federal road connections.
