Zamość hosts film festival finale and free outdoor cinema screenings

On 22 August 2026 the 14th Zamojski Film Festival “Spotkania z historią” concluded at the Market Square in Zamość. The gala featured performances by singer‑songwriter Daria ze Śląska, promoting her third solo album “Halo. Co jest grane?”, and by Marcel Tułacz, a former “The Voice Kids” finalist and multi‑instrumentalist. The event, organized by the Centre of Culture and History of Polish Television, the Centre of Film Culture “Stylowy”, and the city of Zamość, presented the festival’s documentary, animated and reportage competition winners and was free to the public.

The same weekend the “Kino na Leżakach” project offered free open‑air film screenings on the historic Market Square. On Thursday 20 August the comedy‑drama “Piep*zyć Mickiewicza 3” was shown, followed on Friday 21 August by the sequel “Dalej jazda! 2”. Screenings began at 20:30 after pre‑show contests and included lounge chairs and giveaways provided by project partners, with Kinads Media handling organization.
