In parallel, German tour operator nicko cruises announced an eight‑day wine‑focused cruise on the Douro Valley scheduled for 29 Oct‑5 Nov 2026. The itinerary departs from Porto, includes tastings led by diplom‑sommelier Jörg Bornmann, visits to historic towns and renowned vineyards, and emphasizes the region’s UNESCO‑protected landscape.
