Zamora and Lomas de Zamora launch new educational initiatives
The Municipal Theatre School of Zamora is launching its training program this September. Aimed at revitalizing local culture, the initiative offers classes in acting, improvisation, and body expression for children, youth, and adults. The curriculum includes specialized masterclasses in areas such as dramaturgy, verse, and voice training. Classes will be held on Tuesdays at the San Atilano Minor Seminary, with enrollment starting September 1 and classes beginning September 22.
In Lomas de Zamora, the ‘Alfabetización en Comunidad’ (Literacy in the Community) program is expanding its efforts to improve reading, writing, and oral skills. Recently, over 170 volunteer literacy instructors completed training to support youth and adults. The municipality is also conducting territorial surveys to identify individuals needing to complete primary school or validate foreign studies. Additionally, the program will begin distributing books to state schools in September to support fourth-grade and first-year secondary students.
