Zamora installs solar streetlights near Los Almendros pool

The Zamora City Council has installed new solar-powered streetlights on the pedestrian path connecting Calle Villalpando with Avenida de Galicia, located behind the Los Almendros pool. These autonomous photovoltaic luminaires improve visibility and nighttime security without the need for new electrical cabling or overhead lines.

The system includes motion sensors that automatically adjust light intensity based on pedestrian movement, maintaining lower levels when no one is present and increasing brightness upon detection.
