Spain tourism initiatives expand with new campaigns and record fair attendance
Regional tourism initiatives are gaining momentum across Spain, highlighted by the II Tourism Forum of Castilla-La Mancha in Sigüenza. The region announced a new promotional campaign, ‘Castilla-La Mancha todo el año’, to be presented at FITUR, aiming to promote the area as a year-round destination. During the forum, several regional tourism awards were presented, with Cuenca entities receiving significant recognition, including the Hospedería-Bodega Nuestra Señora del Rosario for inclusive tourism and the Asociación Micológica El Valle for its tourism action plan. Additionally, the municipality of Aýna was honored for its best tourism initiative.
In Segovia, the Naturcyl international ecotourism fair concluded with a record-breaking 11,000 visitors. The event serves as a major professional and public meeting point for nature and rural tourism. Meanwhile, the province of Huelva participated in the fair to showcase its rural, active, and nature-based tourism offerings to international intermediaries and visitors.
