Zamora to host Fromago Cheese Experience in September

The third edition of the Fromago Cheese Experience is scheduled to take place in Zamora from September 17 to 20. The event was recently promoted during a final tour stop in Madrid, which included representatives from the Diputación de Zamora and the Junta de Castilla y León.

This international fair is expected to be a record-breaking event, featuring 309 exhibitors, 443 commercial stands, and 45 importers from 23 different countries. The exhibition will span a three-kilometer urban route covering more than 40,000 square meters, with over 500 tents showcasing cheese from five continents.

Officials noted the economic importance of the dairy sector in Castilla y León, which accounts for 18 percent of the region's agri-food market and generates approximately 3 billion euros in business. The promotional tour for the event included several Spanish and Portuguese cities, such as Málaga, Oviedo, Salamanca, Valladolid, and Braganza.
