ZAMPORTAL expands to 572 government services in Zambia

Zambia’s digital government services platform, ZAMPORTAL, has expanded to 572 services across 52 providers, generating nearly K9.78 billion in revenue since its inception. The platform currently hosts 394 services from central government institutions and 178 from eight local authorities.

Finance and National Planning Minister Dr. Situmbeko Musokotwane noted that the expansion aims to improve accessibility, revenue collection, accounting, and public financial management. The platform has served over 1.17 million customers and facilitated more than 6.66 million bills. This growth follows a significant increase from September 2024, when the SMART Zambia Institute reported 322 services and approximately K5 billion in generated revenue.
