Zandvoort hosts final Dutch Grand Prix, anthem sung by Davina Michelle, seeks post‑F1 economic plan

Davina Michelle will sing the Dutch national anthem, the Wilhelmus, before the final Dutch Grand Prix on 23 August at Zandvoort, marking her second performance after first singing it in 2021. She said, "I will never forget singing the Wilhelmus in 2021; this stage comes rarely in a career," and expressed excitement about returning to the grid.

The race is the last edition of the Dutch Grand Prix at the Zandvoort circuit. Local officials note the event has generated roughly €26 million in economic impact and 135 job‑hours per weekend, with additional visitor spending throughout the year. Tom van der Veen, chairman of Ondernemers Belangen Zandvoort, said the town will pivot to attract business tourism and other racing series, such as the upcoming Formula E event, to keep the circuit drawing visitors. Restaurant owner Dino Plastiras added that the circuit remains a major tourist attraction for the town.
