Zane Maloney prepares for Formula E Season 13 with Nissan

Zane Maloney is preparing to join the Nissan Formula E Team for Season 13, marking the beginning of the GEN4 era. The 23-year-old driver, who has experience in Formula 2, will partner with 2024/25 World Drivers' Champion Oliver Rowland.

The upcoming season introduces the fourth generation of Formula E cars, which feature significant technical advancements including active differentials, permanent all-wheel drive, 600 kW of power, and increased aerodynamic load. Maloney noted that while the new technology makes the cars exciting to drive, the permanent all-wheel drive may change racing dynamics, potentially making overtaking more complex compared to previous generations.
