Zanjbar Director Meets Abyan Water Officials on Faluga East Supply

On Monday 3 August 2026, Engineer Mukhtar Al‑Shadadi, director general of Zanjbar district, met with Engineer Saleh Bulaidi, director of the local water and sanitation authority in Abyan Governorate, to discuss residents’ complaints about weak water supply in the Faluga East neighbourhood.

The water authority will dispatch an engineering team to inspect the network, identify causes of low pressure and propose remedial actions. Officials also urged households to regularize water‑service accounts and pay fees. In parallel, the meeting covered a planned cleaning campaign coordinated with the Abyan Cleaning and Improvement Fund, represented by Mohsen Abad, to be carried out in the coming days.
