Zapala and Saltillo announce major cultural and rodeo festivals

Zapala has announced the dates for the 18th edition of the Fiesta de las Colectividades, scheduled for October 9–11 at El Paseo La Estación. Mayor Carlos Koopmann confirmed the event will feature 15 local ethnic groups, two from Neuquén capital, and the National Bioconnection Network. The festival will include gastronomy, cultural shows, cooking classes with international chefs, and a raffle for a RAM Rampage Big Horn truck.

In Mexico, the Rodeo Saltillo 2026 will serve as the official inauguration for the first phase of Expo Coahuila. Taking place from October 15–18, the event will host rodeo competitions, livestock activities, music, and family spaces. The new venue is expected to accommodate between 30,000 and 40,000 people in its initial stage, with plans to expand capacity in future years.
