Zapata Quantum appoints Dr. Peter Shor to Scientific Advisory Board

Zapata Quantum has announced the appointment of several prominent global experts to its Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) to guide the company’s scientific and technical direction. Leading the new group is Dr. Peter Shor, the MIT mathematician renowned for developing Shor’s algorithm, which demonstrated how quantum computers could solve complex computational problems significantly faster than classical methods.

Other scientists joining the board include Dr. Alexandru Paler of Aalto University, Dr. Simon Devitt of the University of Technology, Sydney, and Dr. Artur Izmaylov of the University of Toronto. The board will advise on the development of Quantum Pilot, Zapata’s hardware-agnostic platform designed to discover and develop quantum applications through decision intelligence and engineering.
