Zaprešić to provide 40 euro Christmas bonus to pensioners

The City of Zaprešić has announced a Christmas bonus of 40 euros for its pensioners. This assistance is not dependent on the amount of the pension received.

To qualify, individuals must have their residence in the Zaprešić area and be registered in the city's pensioner records. The benefit is also available to recipients of foreign pensions who meet the specified criteria.

Applications for new pensioners or those not yet registered must be submitted between October 19, 2026, and January 22, 2027. Applications can be filed in person at the City Administration office on Nova ulica 10 or sent via mail. Required documentation includes an ID card and a pension decision or the most recent pension check.

Payments are scheduled to begin on November 16, 2026, and will continue until January 30, 2027. Funds can be collected at any FINA branch. Pensioners who apply by November 9 can collect their bonus starting November 16, while those applying later can collect funds starting the Monday following their application.
