Zara Larsson releases music video for ‘Blue Moon’

Swedish pop star Zara Larsson has released the music video for ‘Blue Moon,’ the fourth single from her fifth studio album, Midnight Sun. Directed by Charlotte Rutherford, the video features fantastical and romantic themes, utilizing animated hearts, butterflies, and glitter special effects.

In the visual, Larsson undergoes various transformations, appearing as a fairy with wings and a mermaid. The setting transitions from a dirt road and a bus stop to a wet, deserted street, creating a whimsical aesthetic to accompany the song’s catchy chorus.
